Papparazi PappuRam and ChappuRam

seed #343

Planning a robbery may still have been an easy job had not PappuRam decided to be in incharge. To make matters worse or better for you my fair reader, the object to be robbed was the pillow of the Magjus.

PappuRam was a great admirer of the Magjus. He had struck a great bond with ChappuRam over bi annual cult meetings, hosted by the disciples of Magjabeej the first, infamously known as “Mehfil -e- Magaj”.

During one such event PappuRam was head banging to some live Magjus poetries, as was dictated in the magaj reaction manifesto. his head bumped with another head, which was also head banging to Magju poetries. This was ChappuRam. This was also history in making, as is always the case with the Magaj universe. It is highly unlikely to bang your head against someone else though blindly headbanging at close distance. Such is the mystery of the Magjus. But if so happens, then it can be either a very good thing or a very bad thing.

Their friendship flowered and their obsession for the Magjus soon turned from love to lust. They wanted everything that Magjus have touched. together they nurtured each other insanity. Which is where our story begins.Though the reader must know that the poor fellows where as innocent as Magjus, as innocent as all followers of the Magjus. They were simply following the magaju reaction manifesto which clearly dictates that the insanity has to be nurtured.

For the next two bi annual meetings, their friendship intensified, and when they met for the third one, they decided not to return for good and stay back in Magajbhoomi. There they heard Magaj baani all night and day and often eagerly looked for opportunities to stroll in the garden, especially immediately after the Magjus are done with theirs. They wanted to breathe the freshness of the flowers that occurs only when Magjus are around.

Magajeevini was a rare flower which has been hunted for many centuries maybe more. It was assumed that the only way to become a magju was to drink this flower but nobody knew much about it. It was said that if sanjeevini doesn’t work magajeevini definitely will for Magjus are eternal. But magajeevini was even more rare than sanjeevini. It did not abide by any geography, it only bloomed in the vicinity of the Magjus and lived shortly to vanish to dust as it was. Even so it was hard to locate, especially because no one knew how it looked like. And around the Magjus the flora and fauna was always in full blossom, overtly so.

The Magjus sitting on magnificent pillows, in the garden, drunk in silence and poetry. This sight was often observed with great reverence by all the magaj bhaktas. They would sit outside, around the garden and jump time to time to take a peek at the blissful sight the Magjus were.

PappuRam and Chappuram would often also do the same. What they were doing was, they were trying to locate magajeevini. After all everyone wanted to be a magju. They have been at it for quite many years now. Until they realise that they need the pillows of the Magjus to be able to view it. Magajeevini does bloom around the Magjus, but in the ethereal much like the Magjus.

On one fateful evening, ChappuRam being ChappuRam happened to have enough of jumping. And blurted out “lets just go steal the goodarn pillows! They have like a fortress full of them anyway. They would not realise if two goes amiss.”

PappuRam being PappuRam, this statement was enough to fuel the inert lust that has been boiling deep down within them both.

They started with preparation for this. They made various plans to steal the pillow. But the pillows were indeed behind a fortress guarded by the deadliest of the magajbhaktas. Amongst the bhaktas of all kinds, the magajbhaktas are the worst for they believed god and poetry is one. This may sound very poetic, the results may not always be so. They had special privileges to slander and slaughter for poetry. It was approved as per the dictates of the magju ration manifesto
